Who We Are
The Pui Ching Middle School (Macau) Humanoid Robot Group (PCMS-HRG) is a student robotics team dedicated to the research, development, and competition of autonomous humanoid robots.
We are preparing to compete in the RoboCup Humanoid League, where autonomous robots with a human-like body plan and human-like senses play soccer against each other. Unlike other robot leagues, the Humanoid League does not simplify perception by using non-human-like range sensors — our robots must see, think, and act just as a human player would.
Key research challenges we are working on include:
- Dynamic walking, running, and kicking while maintaining balance
- Visual perception of the ball, other players, and the field
- Self-localization and autonomous decision-making
- Team coordination and multi-robot communication
